to the Tennessee Federation of Republican Women website. Twenty years before Tennessee was a state, Abigail Adams wrote her husband, John, a member of the Continental Congress, and asked him to, “Remember the ladies in the code of laws. I desire you would remember the ladies and be more generous and favorable to them than your ancestors. If particular care and attention is not paid to the ladies, we are determined to foment a rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any laws in which we have no voice or representation.”
This web site is dedicated to our Founding Sisters, The Federation of Republican Women, and all women who cherish the right to speak out on political issues and to support candidates who will bring us back to our Conservative Heritage.

FOR AN OUTSTANDING JOB ON
LADIES DAY ON THE HILL
Ladies Day on the Hill was a huge success due to Linda’s selflessness and
hard work and dedication.
LDOH was also successful due to the great turnout. Ladies, thank you for coming.
Thank you to all of the individuals and clubs who contributed in different ways.
Your help was greatly appreciated and we could not have done it without you as well.
Our NFRW President, Sue Lynch, was really impressed with the turnout and
she told me that this was one of the best times she has had.
I also want to thank all those Legislators who showed up to speak to us,
especially those who were not on the schedule but were willing to step in
for those who couldn’t come. April 14 was a very busy day for all of them
and I am so grateful that they made an effort to be there,
despite their hectic work-load.
