Barbara Trautman has volunteered for Republican candidates for over 24 years. She has served as Volunteer Coordinator orGet Out the Vote Chair for many local, state and federal campaigns.
Since serving as Founding President of Republican Women of Purpose in 2005, Barbara has worked on 5 TFRW Convention Committees, served as a 2 term Area Vice President, the Campaign Committee Chair and is presently the newly elected TFRW President.
She also served on the NFRW Campaign Committee from 2014-2015 and as the NFRW Campaign Committee Chair 2016-2017.
Barbara has received the Republicanism Award and the Grassroots Campaign Award from the Republican Party of Shelby County at their last 2 year’s Lincoln Day Events.
Barbara serves on the Board of Directors of many state and local organizations, most notably, her appointment by Governor Haslam on the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators 3 1/2 years ago.
She has been married to Dr. Bob Trautman for 46 years. They have 2 sons, Lucas and Ben. Lucas and his wife Kristin have 2 daughters, Myra and Leia.
